A Swampy Refuge
Talia’s brother was considered a major threat when Talia first mentioned him. With an army at his back and seemingly no moral structure, Carvin was an intimidating sight.. until the group met him. Cordial, though short on temper and high on decorum, Carvin conveyed the knowledge of a threat thought defeated by their mutual father. A barbarian of some renown, Xeromaun had been spotted and engaged by Carvin’s forces stationed at North Warden. The barbarian seemed less intent on completing his old task of sacking the city of Arbet Ferd than finding the offspring of Olaf, and leaving a path of destruction in his wake in doing so. Carvin said he thought his half-sister should know, so that she might remove the danger from her unwitting companions.
He grossly misjudged the group’s willingness to consider this new threat when planning their future endeavours.
